From September 22nd to September 24th 2023, the seventh generation of the Lighthouse of Knowledge project officially started. Young participants from 12 cities across Serbia gathered together.
They had the opportunity to meet their professional mentors, alumni, and peers, as well as attend lectures by distinguished experts.
The final event took place from December 1st to December 3rd in Bajina Bašta. The expert jury included Erste Bank, the United States Embassy in Serbia, Schneider Electric, the SBB Foundation, and Startuj.com.
We selected the top 6 teams, with the winning team from Niš in the field of social responsibility with their project ‘Following My Own Path.’
Prizes for the winners were provided by Erste Bank, Go2 Travel, Kampster, Official Gazette, and Youth Card.
The winning project was awarded with 300,000 RSD for the project implementation.
Starting with this generation, the project is led by the Association for the Affirmation of Culture, with financial support from the U.S. Embassy in Belgrade, the Ministry of Tourism and Youth of the Republic of Serbia, and Erste Bank Serbia.

From July 29th to July 31st 2022, the sixth generation of the Lighthouse of Knowledge project officially started. Young participants from 15 cities across Serbia gathered together.
They had the opportunity to meet their professional mentors, alumni, and peers, as well as attend lectures by distinguished experts.
The final event took place from October 7th to October 9th, in Čačak. The expert jury included the Divac Foundation, Trag Foundation, and Bambi.
We selected the top 6 teams, with the winning team from Bajina Bašta in the field of ecology with their project ‘Exactly That Step.’
Prizes for the winners were provided by Erste Bank, Go2 Travel, Garnier, Youth Card, and Službeni glasnik.
Starting with this generation, the project is led by the Association for the Affirmation of Culture, with financial support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia, Erste Bank Serbia, and Bambi.

The final event took place from November 26th to November 28th, on Avala. The expert jury included Erste Bank, the Divac Foundation, Delta Holding, and Delhaize.
We selected the top 6 teams, with the winning team from Šabac in the field of public health with their project ‘Yummy.’
Prizes for the winners were provided by Erste Bank, the Official Gazette, and Youth Card. The winning project was awarded 250,000 RSD for implementation.

From September 11th to 13th, 2020, the fourth generation of the Lighthouse of Knowledge project officially started. Young participants from 15 cities across Serbia gathered together.
They had the opportunity to meet their professional mentors, alumni, and peers, as well as attend lectures by distinguished experts such as Jovana Božičković from the Belgrade Open School and Uroš Živković from the Returning Point initiative.
The final event took place from November 28 to 30, 2020, in Vršac. The expert jury included Erste Bank, the Divac Foundation, MPG Agency, and the United States Embassy in Serbia.
We selected the top 6 teams, with the winning team of young women from Belgrade in the field of public health with their project ‘Taboo Diary.’
The winning prize of 300,000 RSD for project implementation was provided by Erste Bank.

They had the opportunity to meet their professional mentors, alumni, and peers, as well as attend lectures by distinguished experts such as Tamara Jovanović and Marija Mutic from Erste Bank, Ivan Brkljač from Mokrin House, Mila Đorđević from Pirot E Publika, and Ivan Vukašinović from Razlivalište.
The final event took place from February 1st to 3rd 2020, on Zlatibor. The expert jury included Erste Bank, the Divac Foundation, and Balkan Fun.
We selected the top 6 teams, with the winning team of young women from Pančevo in the field of ecology with their project ‘Limerang.’
Prizes for the winners were provided by Erste Bank, Serbia for Youth, and Balkan Fun.
For the first time in this generation, public presentations for the top 6 teams were included as the fourth phase of the project, where they presented their ideas to their fellow citizens and representatives of local governments in their cities.

This year, the project took place from November 2018 to February 2019. The project opening took place on Divčibare from November 23rd to November 25th. Participants had the opportunity to meet their teams, get to know each other, and learn more about the project, alongside interesting lectures.
Around 100 participants from 15 cities across Serbia took part in the event.
The project closing was held on Zlatibor from February 1st to February 3rd, 2020, where we had the opportunity to hear from Darko Stanić, the state secretary at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and select the best project.
The winner of the second generation was the team from Leskovac, focusing on tourism with the project ‘Leskovac through the Middle Ages.’
The expert jury included: Erste Bank, Serbia for Youth, Razlivaliste, and Delhaize.
The project was conducted with financial support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia. The first two generations of the project were led by the Organization of Serbian Students Abroad (OSSI).

Under the title “World Knowledge for Youth Development,” the project was launched on August 26th at the “Ratko Mitrović” student resort on Zlatibor.
The opening was attended by Snežana Klašnja, the assistant minister for youth, who engaged with around 100 participants from 15 cities and municipalities in Serbia, along with their mentors and lecturers, discussing their ideas for local projects.
In addition to informative sessions about the project, speakers shared their beginnings, ideas, experiences, advice, and knowledge, including Alek Aleksa Živković (Potrcko Pirot/The Kind Transporter), Radovan Perović (Center for Public Speaking), and Danilo Grbović (Filter App).
The project closed in November on Avala, where the winning team from Kraljevo presented their idea for improving tourism in their city.
